How many pixels is a 1-inch (一寸) photo?
A Chinese 1-inch photo is 295×413 px (25×35 mm at 300 dpi). 2-inch is 413×579 px (35×49 mm).
What size is a US visa photo?
600×600 px, equal to 51×51 mm (2×2 inches), on a plain white background. The head must measure 25–35 mm from chin to crown.
What about Schengen / UK / Canada visa photos?
All three use the 35×45 mm format (413×531 px at 300 dpi). Canada also accepts 50×70 mm prints.
Do I need a white background for visa photos?
Most visa photos require a plain white or off-white background, but some documents accept light blue. Always confirm with the issuing authority before printing.
