Service Description
ToolVault (hereinafter referred to as the "Service") is a free browser-based developer toolbox offering 189+ practical tools, including JSON formatting, encoding conversion, hash calculation, encryption, and more. Most tools run locally in your browser; the API Tester may optionally forward requests via this site's
/api/proxy; in-site feedback is submitted only when you choose to send it (see the Privacy Policy).03
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

License to Use
The Service is provided free for personal and commercial use. You may use the tools for any lawful purpose. You may not:
- Use the Service for any illegal activity.
- Attempt to interfere with, reverse engineer, or disrupt the Service.
- Remove or alter any copyright or proprietary notices.

Intellectual Property
The source code, design, and branding of the Service are owned by ToolVault. You retain full ownership of all data you input into the tools — we claim no rights to your data.

Copyright & DMCA Infringement Policy
ToolVault respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) of 1998 (17 U.S.C. § 512) and applicable copyright laws, we have adopted the following policy for handling copyright infringement claims.
1. What you may report
If you are a copyright owner or an agent authorized to act on behalf of one, and believe that any content on this website infringes your copyrights, you may submit a written notice pursuant to the DMCA. This policy covers copyrighted works such as blog articles, images, code snippets, and UI designs. It does not apply to disputes over the functional behavior of tools.
2. Required elements of a notice
- A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
- Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, and evidence of ownership (e.g., registration certificate, original source link).
- Identification of the infringing material on our site — exact URLs or enough detail for us to locate the material promptly.
- Your contact information: name, postal address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
3. Where to send
Send the complete notice to our designated Copyright Agent at mainxbegin@163.com with the subject line "DMCA / Copyright Notice — [Work Title]". We typically acknowledge and investigate within 3 business days.
4. Counter-notice procedure
If you believe material you posted was removed by mistake, you may send a counter-notice containing your identity, a description of the removed material, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the removal was in error. Upon receipt we will reinstate the removed material unless the original complainant files a lawsuit within 10 business days.
5. Repeat infringers
We reserve the right, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, to restrict or terminate access to users who are repeat copyright infringers, as permitted by law.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without any express or implied warranties. We do not guarantee that:
- Tools will always be accurate, reliable, or available.
- The Service will be error-free or uninterrupted.
- Results will meet your specific requirements.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ToolVault shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service. You assume all risks of using the tools.
