1. Change the background in three steps

2. First run loads the model
The first process downloads ~10MB of runtime and model (cached afterwards). Nothing about your photo touches the network: once loaded, inference runs on your local CPU, and you can verify in DevTools Network that no photo data is ever sent.
3. Tuning and limits
- Edge feathering: enable it when hair edges look hard — it softly blends the cutout edge.
- Portrait-tuned: ID photos and half-body shots work best; full-body, complex poses or backlight degrade results.
