TL;DR: Free Chinese typesetting normalizer: pangu spacing between CJK and Latin/digits, fullwidth punctuation in CJK context, and 40+ tech proper-noun casing fixes. Built for technical writers and translators. Runs locally.
This tool runs entirely in your browser. Open DevTools → Network panel and search your input — it appears in no request.
Usage Guide
The two small things that most cheapen a technical document: no spacing between Chinese and Latin text, and sloppy proper-noun casing (github/GitHub mixed at random). This tool does all three in one pass: pangu spacing (auto space at CJK/Latin boundaries), fullwidth punctuation in CJK context (English sentences untouched), and 40+ tech proper-noun casing fixes — run your draft through it before publishing; it costs five seconds.
1. How the three switches compose
- Pangu space (on by default): inserts one space at CJK ↔ letter/digit boundaries — 使用GitHub → 使用 GitHub. Existing spaces are never doubled.
- Fullwidth punctuation (off by default): converts halfwidth marks only when adjacent to CJK (你好, → 你好,); halfwidth in pure English sentences stays, which suits mixed Chinese-with-English-terms prose.
- Noun casing (on by default): javascript→JavaScript, ios→iOS, mysql→MySQL and 40+ more, matched on word boundaries so ordinary words are untouched.
2. When to keep punctuation off
Halfwidth marks inside code blocks, shell examples, URLs, and version strings are syntax (npm install vue@3.2.0, a.b.c paths) — fullwidthing them breaks things. The adjacency rule keeps prose safe, but for Markdown with inline code, wrap the code in backticks before running the tool.
